Harry Potter’s ‘Invisibility Cloak’ Is Now A Reality

Even if your life is not constantly in danger like Harry Potter’s, his invisibility cloak would also come in really handy—and now, it is actually possible to create a cloak like that.

Thanks to Canadian camouflage design company Hyperstealth, it is now possible to render yourself completely invisible by covering yourself up with a piece of special fabric.

Although in no way magical, the “Quantum Stealth” material is capable of concealing its wearer and blend him into the surroundings by manipulating the light waves around it.

Designed for American soldiers, the material supposedly works without the need for cameras, batteries, lights or mirrors—it is also lightweight and relatively inexpensive.

Who needs magic when you can have cutting-edge technology?
