Pope Benedict XVI has received a new ‘Popemobile’ as an early Christmas gift from Mercedes-Benz.
The new vehicle is based on the brand’s M-Class, features a customized security system, and makes the Pontiff more visible when he’s traveling in it.
As compared to the old Popemobile, the updated vehicle has a comfortable throne, taller dome, larger glass panels, an illuminated roof liner, a larger space, and more convenient entry access.
