Budapest-based Hungarian photographer and graphic designer Flora Borsi has created a humorous series of images that shows what happens if Photoshop can be transposed to real life as beauty products.
These photographs depict a deliberately less-than-picture-perfect subject, who physically applies commonly used Photoshop tools—such as “Patch” and “Smudge”—to make herself appear more attractive in reality.
Bringing the pervasive digital modification of photographs in the media one step further into the digital world, this piece of technology—if it ever comes into being—would put the beauty and cosmetic surgery industry out of business.
In the future, perhaps we may really be able to edit away our flaws with a few clicks and swipes of the computer cursor?
