3D Glass Sculptures Of MRI And CT Scans

London-based artist Angela Palmer creates amazing 3D glass sculptures by taking MRI and CT scans of people and animals and engraving them onto multiple thin sheets of glass.

Palmer’s work can be attributed to her lifelong love of maps. She says that the “process of investigating and visualising topographies, natural forms and landscapes, and then producing them in a form which captures their essence” is a source of extreme fascination and satisfaction to her.
