eBay user mightys0x has put up, for auction, an adorable handmade knight’s helmet and suit armor for guinea pigs.
“Is your pet guinea pig tired of wandering around the house unamored and vulnerable? …Has your guinea pig ever wanted to go with you to a Renaissance Faire but had nothing to wear?” mights0x wrote. “Fear not! A solution is here!”
The noble protective gear was originally made for his late guinea pig, Lucky, who only recently retired from knighthood.
The chainmail suit took mightys0x a few weeks to make, while the helmet was purchased at a Renaissance Faire later on as the “perfect finishing touch”.
In the honor of Lucky, all proceeds from the auction would go to the Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue in Virginia—where Lucky was originally adopted.
Currently, the top bid is US$20,700.
