Reddit user Pauklzorz came up with an interesting way to raise money for charity—he put his beard up for auction and let people on the internet decide whether he should shave or not shave for an entire year.
By creating an online poll that allows people to vote for their preferred option—keep the beard or shave it all off—he was able to raise a total of 1,769 Euros for a family member who needed money for medical treatment.
At the end of the poll, he put up a series of pictures on Imgur that shows the process of him shaving off not only his beard, but his hair as well—we guess that more people wanted him to be clean-shaven.
