Seaside Hostel In England Houses Both Birds And Guests

University student Thomas Savage has come up with a nine-storey hostel to accommodate both birds and people.

Located in Blyth, a port town in northern England, Savage proposes ‘towers’ made of concrete cabins and steel scaffolding.

These quirky structures will house guests during summer and will be demarcated as protected nesting areas in the winter.

Birds enter through ‘tunnels’ in the roof, while birdwatchers will be able to admire these creatures by using the hostel’s staircases and platforms.
