Del Mar, California-based photography app developer Macphun Software has created ‘Lost Photos’, a handy app for Windows and Apple computers that helps you recover photographs lost in the black hole of your email account.
After downloading and installing it, enter your email address and password, and hit the green ‘Find my photos’ button to start searching.
The app is capable of searching multiple email accounts, and comes with a safety mechanism in the event that it finds too many photos–it pauses the downloading to avoid your email service provider detecting excessive downloading activity and disabling your account.
It also lets you share your rediscovered photos with family and friends via social media.
