Bright, Eye-Catching Murals Transform Train Routes Into An Outdoor Art Gallery

Berlin-based artist Kathatina Grosse has teamed up with City of Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program to create bright murals on buildings and green spaces around the tracks.

Passengers of Amtrak will be able to see seven different artworks along downtown's 30th street station and North Philadelphia Station—depicting "scale, perspective and the passage of time", it aims for the commuters to see beauty in history.

The project "Psychylustro" is a "real-time landscape painting, where the ever-evolving city is the canvas and your window is the frame". For more details about the artworks, you can call a hotline or read the cards placed on the train seats.
