Designer Bends The Rules Of Typography, Creates Unconventional Designs

Japanese designer Shun Sasaki pushes the boundaries of typography with is unique style—bold lines are juxtaposed on curves, covered in loud colors.

While we do not know the meaning of the Japanese characters, these designs are truly eye catching and fascinating to view—in particular, the type designed in English looks like the maze puzzles that we used play as children.

These designs break the boundaries of "grid" work and is not restricted by the rules of creating "good typography".
