Joining ‘Banana Boy’ Carter as a new viral internet meme is non-other than Ben Affleck, who will be playing the iconic Dark Knight in the future Batman VS Superman film by American director Zack Snyder.
When Snyder tweeted a first look of Affleck as the Dark Knight, the internet immediately erupted with photoshopped variations of the caped crusader. Calling him ‘Sad Batman’, they placed him in all sorts of sad scenarios—very much for our entertainment.
For example, there’s an image of Batman pushing an empty swing in the rain, while another places him in an empty diner drinking coffee alone. Probably one of the saddest scenes is the image of Batman attending his graduation without his parents.
