Eric Yahnker is a Los Angeles-based artist who uses colored pencils to create illustrations that make fun of contemporary American culture.
The drawings target political issues as well as the sexually suggestive references in advertising across the States.
Yahnker's works aim to navigate the muddy, frequently strained gulf between the reception of recent US affairs at home and abroad.
In one of the drawings, President Obama was portrayed peering out of a window at Miley Cyrus on a wrecking ball and in another drawing, a hand directly dips into a can of Crisco.
His works, titled ‘Sticks & Drones’ are currently on display at Paradise Row till June 28, 2014.
