Swiss mountain village of 80 residents, Obermutten, became famous around the world last year for its charming Facebook campaign—where it invited people to become its fans on Facebook, after which the village would post profile pictures on the town’s bulletin boards.
To celebrate and conserve this friendship from all over the world, Obermutten has set up its own museum of friendship—that anyone from all over the world can send in.
Called the ‘Obermutten International Museum of Friendship’ (OIMOF), the museum lets anyone from all over the world can send in objects of friendship.
All objects sent in will also be photographed and posted in Obermutten’s Facebook photo gallery.
All users have to do to submit an object, is send it to “Martin Wyss, Haus Nr. 51 A OIMOF, CH-7431 Mutten Switzerland”, with a description of why you chose the object.
“With this, we hope to get to know you all better and you to get to know each other better,” Martin Wyss, Major of Obermtten and curator of the Obermutten International Museum of Friendship, wrote.
