Whistling Wood International has rolled out an empowering ad that addresses sexual harassment in India.
Part of celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema, this ad was released on the anniversary of the Delhi rape case and features four scenarios in which women cleverly get back at men for staring at them in a lewd manner.
Accompanied with a song called “Dekh Le Tu Dekhte Hue Kaisa Lagta Hai”, which roughly translates to “Look at how you are ogling [women]”, this witty ad turns the tables on the aggressors by showing them how awful they really are.
With skilful cameramen and well-executed shots, this stellar concept highlights the serious problem of sexual harassment in the country.
