Toronto-based graphic designer, illustrator and typographer Ben Johnston has “a preference for creating typographic illustrations from scratch”.
Recently, he uploaded images of hand-drawn lettering and typography pieces that have been done in the past year onto his website—these beautiful creations are collected in a simple black notebook.
From elaborate logos to ornate letters, a flip through Johnston’s notebook gives us a behind-the-scenes glimpse of how a typographer works.
