Amazingly Intricate Illustrations Made Up Of Countless Colorful Wires

Athens-based Greek designer Charis Tsevis is inspired by the incredibly connected world of today and has created a series of beautiful illustrations that look like they are formed with thousands of inter-lacing, brightly colored wires.

From images of ferocious lions to famous personalities like Coco Chanel and Steve Jobs, these digital drawings are wonderfully intricate and the various kinds of wires and cables that we have come to rely on in our daily lives.

An up-close look at this illustrations yields details like quirky striped wires—you would also find the familiar USB and lightning cords tangled up in the carefully shaped mess of wires.

According to the designer, all of these illustrations “have to do with the relationship between the network and the human body and spirit”—view more of his lovely work on his website.
