London-based animation studio Rushes has created a trio of quirky short clips called ‘Tiny Worlds’ that imagine tiny toys cleaning up rubbish and litter on the city’s streets.
In the animations, a submarine emerges from a puddle to dispatch a tossed cigarette butt with a missile, a logging truck picks up used matches on the ground, and a bulldozer attempts to remove a piece of gum struck on the pavement.
The effects like explosions and puffs of smoke were created using 2D hand animations, giving the videos a cartoonish stylized feel.
