Based in New York and Paris, photographer Lauren Fleishman produced a series of intimate and touching portraits of couples living in New York City who have been together for more than 50 years.
In a world where the divorce rate is on a worrying upward trend, the “Love Ever After” photo series is a heart-warming reminder that love can last.
Inspired by a collection of letters that her grandfather wrote to her grandmother, the project is meant to be a “photographic series of love letters”—in addition to photographs, Fleishman has also included voice recordings and text of her subjects.
A couple of years ago, the photographer successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign for a photo book that collects these inspiring portraits—if you have not gotten the book then, you may want to sign up for the Love Eve After book announcement over here.
