A Brilliant Publicity Campaign For A Vintage-Style Typeface

Multi-disciplinary design consultancy Antrepo has created an awesome publicity campaign for “Public Gothic”, a vintage-style typeface that it has made.

Given the retro vibe of the font, its creators has shown it being used to great effect on old school gasoline cans and nostalgia-inducing airline baggage tags.

The promotional images also feature some very compelling graphic design work—the masterful distressing done on the cans and tags made them look like genuine aged items.

You can now purchase the Public Gothic font for US$100 over here—it is compatible with any OS system.
