London-based artist Mister Peebles creates charming watercolor illustrations of animals and pairs them with clever quotes.
Using watercolor pencils and ink, he renders animals like cats, ducks, deer, owls and rabbits in pretty soft tones. His playful creatures, which are sometimes clad in human clothing, are accompanied by funny and creative wordplay like a toucan declaring “A toucan of my affection” and a squirrel saying “I’m nuts about you.”
Mister Peebles takes a light-hearted approach to his art, saying he “hopes to make you smile and cheer your day a little.”
His illustrations are available as greeting cards and posters, and he also accepts requests and commissions.
