Co-founder of BKLYNR, an online news publication dedicated to the stories and happenings of Brooklyn, Thomas Rhiel has created a fascinating interactive map that shows all the buildings in the borough.
Color-coding each building according to its age, this map provides a snapshot of Brooklyn’s development over the years—for instance, it can be observed that while some neighborhoods have changed drastically, other have remained virtually untouched for decades.
Highlighting the borough’s architectural diversity, the map is made mostly with data from NYC Department of City Planning.
