Bouncy Pop-Up Hotel Room Lets You Stay In A Bubble On A Van

Love bouncy castles?

The Curtis hotel in Denver has teamed up with artist Alex Schweder to create a bouncy pop-up hotel room that lets guests indulge the kids in them, according to TIME.com.

Originally designed to be an interactive art installation for the Biennial of the Americas—the mobile hotel room, entitled ‘The Hotel Rehearsal’, is a 7 x 10-foot room suspended 22-feet in the air from a van that can be driven around.

It is decked with “an inflatable bed that doubles as a couch” and a small bathroom, wrote TIME.com.

Though not considered the most luxurious of stays for what you pay, the US$50,000-per-night hotel room has transparent walls and ceiling so you can fall asleep under the stars, while being protected from weather elements.

For privacy, it’s also equipped with shades for occupants to pull down easily.

TIME.com also mentioned that the artist intended the pop-up hotel room to “reflect the growth and expansion of society—what is a parking lot today could be a hotel tomorrow”.
