Breaking up with someone can be a daunting task, and Kathy Mueller’s graduate school project serves to cheekily comment on this process.
Called “Clean Break”, Mueller has designed a series of sweet treats for people to give to their soon to be exes.
There are lemonheads, maple sugar sweets, and a chocolate bacon bar in the set.
The slogan of each packaging also alludes to the flavor of each candy—for example, the label on the chocolate bacon bar reads as “Bacon and chocolate are a match made in heaven. You and me, not so much.”
These sweets come with mad-lib style cards, allowing people to fill in what they want to say to their former lovers so that they can “break it off with taste.”
What do you think—is this a creative idea, or just plain insensitive?
