In The Future, Beers May Not Give People Hangovers

No one likes having a hangover, and the research team at the Griffith Health Institute in Australia may have found a way for people to wake up feeling fine after a night of drinking.

The team started to re-think the idea of beer brewing, creating one with more electrolytes which will replenish your fluids as you chug down a pint.

Despite having more electrolytes, the new beer’s taste was not affected, allowing people to enjoy this hearty brew.

Associate Professor Ben Desbow then gave his subjects four kinds of beer—including their improved version—to people who had finished exercising, and found out that their modified beer was a third better at hydrating people than an ordinary one.

However, brewing a beer with more electrolytes means reducing its alcohol content, so heavy drinkers may want to give this a pass.

Would you have a glass of this beer, or does a heavier brew still trump the hangover?
