Bored with studying for his exams last year, Chinese automotive engineering student Qian Wei Cheng started carving watermelon flesh with a spoon to pass the time.
After each work of art is done, his friends would take a picture before eating them.
There are about 41 works of art in total, but this year, his works became viral after people started sharing them on social networking sites.
It is unsurprising that he has been dubbed the ‘Watermelon Man’ as his carvings are quite stunning.
Qian had to use a small knife to add in details to the rose, but all the other delicious-looking carvings were made with a spoon.
