British artist Giles Oldershaw makes portraits of celebrities out of cardboard.
The artist himself has always had a fascination for used materials, but when a tutor told him to make an unusual self-portrait out of corrugated cardboard, both of them were stunned by the results.
Oldershaw has taken to carving portraits of movie stars from the silver screen, like Alfred Hitchcock and Marilyn Monroe.
He first draws and outlines portraits in pencil, using tweezers, a scalpel and a scissors to complete each work of art.
Each finished work of art is a detailed and layered portrait.
