‘Midtown’, An Impressive Time-Lapse Of NYC Made From 50,000 Stills

Video production company District 7 Media has compiled an amazing time-lapse that pays tribute to ‘the city that never sleeps’, New York City.



Called ‘Midtown’, the video takes you on an amazing tour through the city—from Midtown Manhattan to the Empire State Building and, to the iconic Times Square.



Made using more than 50,000 still frames, the video was “shot over the course of 6 months traveling back and forth from Washington DC to New York City”.



“Midtown New York City is the place to be. The lights, cars, traffic, architecture and people make the city come to life as a living, breathing, organism that never sleeps,” wrote the video’s description. “Take a trip with this time-lapse production into the city and see the sights and sounds that create this magnificent destination.”
