When advertising agency The Barbarian Group unveiled its amazing ‘Superdesk’ that seats all 125 of its employees, accompanied by a video tour of its new office, it caused a stir online.
Not to be outdone, Gerry Graf of fellow agency Barton F. Graf 9000 created a spoof video to show off its impressive interior too.
Narrated in a deadpan style, he introduces the office’s “continuous floor”, carefully pointing out that “it’s not a surfboard”, its “see-through” windows, the “62 discontinuous desks” that provide personal space for employees, and pillars that prevent the floors above from falling.
Graf is a friend of Barbarian Group chairman Benjamin Palmer, and he admitted that he was a little jealous when he saw the video. “You have to admit the office looks pretty cool. So last Friday I started talking about what we had and it just came to me that we had a continuous floor,” he told Fast Company.
Watch the spoof below and the video of the ‘Superdesk’ after.
