Japanese video game company Capcom got in on the April Fools’ Day action yesterday by launching specially dubbed versions of its best-selling games in cat language.
Apparently cats in Japan really love watching their owners play video games, and Capcom claims it has received numerous requests over the years from fans asking for dubbed versions.
To help their beloved kitties understand the action happening onscreen, Capcom assembled a ‘Team Neko’ sound design team to help with dubbing the titles.
It released a video showing what the games sound like with cat meows, but alas it’s been set to private.
