Delightful Advertising For Sliced Bread Features Truthful Sandwich Conversations

Toronto-based advertising agency The Hive has created a series of delightful ads based around the conversations that we have while spreading our toast around the kitchen table.



The ads advertise Wonder Bread, and they combine voiceovers and what looks like invisible sandwich making where slices of bread are creating a sandwich of itself.



The voiceovers reflect an ongoing conversation, and the topic of the conversation is reflected in how the sandwich is made.



For example, an apologetic husband makes a cute face for a sandwich to appease his wife, or a college-aged son cuts off the crusts of his peanut butter and jelly sandwich while insisting to his mother over the phone that he does not miss home.



These ads work on insightful pieces of human truths where one can identify with the conversations and the familiarity of conversations with your loved ones.
