Design-Driven Coffeemaker Lets You Enjoy The Ritual Of Hand-Brewing Coffee

With the belief that the process of preparing coffee can be as pleasurable as drinking coffee, Chicago-based designer Craighton Berman has created the “Manual Coffeemaker No1”,

A single cup brewer, this new product is designed to “celebrate the ritual of making coffee by hand”—not only does it allow the user more control over the way their coffee would taste by letting them adjust and perfect their recipes, it also helps to create breaks in a fast-paced life where one can slow down and enjoy a quiet moment.

This pour-over coffeemaker has a simple but attractive design that would look great on the countertop both at home and in the office—its glass body provides users with full visibility of the drip-coffee process, which can be rather therapeutic to witness.

According to Berman, “In a world ever focused on speed and convenience, the act of preparing coffee manually and by-the-cup is a chance to really slow down and enjoy the moment.”

To be among the first few to own this stylish coffeemaker, pledge for the product on Kickstarter.
