Funny Video Shows 20 Men Getting Waxed To Raise Awareness Of Testicular Cancer

To raise awareness of testicular cancer, BBDO Toronto and video production house Crush recently challenged 20 men to get their nether regions waxed, and filmed their reactions.



Created for Testicular Cancer Canada, the cheekily-named ‘Not-The-Sac Wax’ ad is exactly as you’d expect: anguish howls and squirming, reddening faces ensue as hair gets ripped from their sensitive crotch areas.



According to statistics, testicular cancer occurs most frequently in men aged 15 to 29 and the video’s message is clear: do it the easy way and get checked or suffer the burning pain of a hot, waxy routine.



Since most young men don’t give much thought to an issue like cancer, this was a fun and light-hearted way of getting them to think about their groins.
