In January 2012, a pair of llamas traveled to Bellingham Health and Rehabilitation Center to visit a group of elderly patients. This incredibly heartwarming ‘llama-therapy’ was captured on film by Canadian photographer Jen Osborne.
The llamas, named ‘Marisco’ and ‘N.H. Flight of the Eagle’, interacted with the patients in an adorable display of affection.
Albeit being uncommon therapy animals of choice, the tame and huggable creatures made for delightful companions.
Osborne’s compilation of photographs has been made into a photo series titled “Llama Love”, and it has been featured in Colors Magazine’s “Happiness” issue.
