Man Staged A Creative Marriage Proposal With Custom-Made Children’s Book

For many men, trying to find a romantic and original way to propose to the girlfriend can be very nerve-wrecking—Redditor Paul Phillips is probably no exception, but he recently managed to pop the question in one of the most creative ways we have seen for a while.

Planning way in advance, Phillips got the idea of creating a children’s picture book about his relationship with his girlfriend Erika Ramos and enlisted the help of Nashville-based illustrator Yoni Limor.

The result is an adorable book titled A Tall Tale that stars the couple as a gorilla and giraffe who are in love—the sweet illustrations visualises a short story that Phillips has written himself.

The thoughtful groom-to-be also hired Laura Ingram, who managed to capture the special moment on the sly when he finally proposed at the library, where he has hidden the book for Erika to find.

Who can say no to such a charming proposal? You can read A Tall Tale online over here.
