Fast Co. Design alerted us to this great infographic that was recently published on The Guardian—to celebrate Alfred Hitchcock’s 114th birthday, it maps out eight of the famed director’s cinematic obsessions that keep recurring in his films.
Inspired by the iconic credits designed by Saul Bass for some of Hitchcock’s most well-known films, including Vertigo, the infographic is created by designers Adam Frost and Zhenia Vasiliev.
From the unusually high tendency for his characters to fall to their death to his penchant for casting blondes as victims, this piece is an entertaining read, especially for Hitchcock’s legions of die-hard fans.
