German furniture company DEDON has created the ‘SWINGREST’, an oversized hanging lounger that lets you relax amidst nature; it can be hung in your terrace, veranda and even over bodies of water.
The design was inspired by the company’s earlier product called the ‘NESTREST’, as well as the high ceilings of Dedon Island resort, the company’s Outdoor Living Lab in Siargao, Philippines. It features a spacious basket-like bottom, a graceful suspension system, a 180-degree rotating tabletop, and special cord that wraps around the exposed tubing.
The SWINGREST also comes with an optional cloth cover for shade and privacy while letting occupants see their surroundings, making for a nice hideaway from the outside world.
