Designer Timothy Goodman—whom we last featured here—recently created a fun and meaningful wall installation at Airbnb’s San Francisco headquarters.
Tasked to illustrated the working experiences of the company’s employees, Goodman used plywood left over from the construction of the building as his canvas—cutting the plywood into “frames” of various sizes, he then arranged and hung them up on the wall.
After getting the Airbnb team to write down hundred of “moments” that “represent internal experiences that employees have shared over the years”, the designer transformed 115 of them into lovely hand-drawn illustrations.
These creative, heart-warming artworks covered the 60-foot installation wall, making up a striking and interesting backdrop to the everyday operation at Airbnb.
Would you like to see such an installation wall at your workplace?
