Graffiti artist Vince Prawns started the website “Shriiimp: Graffiti On Girls” back in 2005—as suggested by its name, it is the one and only website dedicated to graffiti art that has been painted onto the bodies of women.
Since its inception, Shriiimp has received and published thousands of photographs from its community, which currently stands at over 60,000 fans.
While many pictures have been rejected, those who made it onto the website are definitely visual treats—the graffiti art that is usually seen on streets walls takes on a wonderful new dimension when transplanted onto the sensual female body.
The contributing artists have made creative use of their canvas—their colorful and intricate graphics, text and flourishes wrap and flow around subjects’ bodies in intriguing ways, looking like bold and exquisite tattoos.
Shriiimp has recently published their first book, which collects some of the best works from the website’s most active artists—you can purchase it here.
