French illustrator Sylvain Sarrailh’s ‘Badass’ series ensures that we will never look at our favorite childhood characters the same way again.
These characters range from the classic to the contemporary, and are illustrated in a darker, more adult manner—Alice may have imagined Wonderland under the influence of drugs, and having Teletubbies wear hazmat suits lets us view the innocent TV show in a different light.
