A Germ Alarm That Beeps When You Forget To Wash Your Hands

Antibacterial soap brand, Safeguard, has recently created the Germ Alarm, an alarm that goes off every time someone visits the bathroom and does not use hand soap.

It works by pressure sensors that are connected to the doors of each cubicle stall, which triggers an alarm when the door is opened.

This alarm can only be deactivated when the wall-mounted soap dispenser is pressed.

Each dispenser also has a guide alongside that teaches people how to wash their hands properly.

The Germ Alarm was first introduced during Global Handwashing Day in October 2013. It has been installed in public restrooms, and even selected business outlets and schools.
