Banana Sculptures Made Using A Toothpick And A Spoon

An electrician by day, Keisuke Yamada makes sculptures out of bananas in his spare time.

It all started when Yamada thought that it would be fun to make sculptures out of these fruits, and uploaded his first piece to the site Pixiv.

After encouragement from the community, Yamada decided to make more, using a toothpick and spoon to carve out his creations.

As bananas rot easily, the artist only has an hour to create his works of art, which he eats after completion.

A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Yamada strives for an element of “unbelievability” in his work, hoping that they will surprise his viewers.
