French performance artist Phia Ménard and performance troupe Compagnie Non Nova recently held a ballet featuring dancing air-borne plastic bags at the London International Mime Festival 2014.
The plastic bags were animated by cross-currents generated by a ring of fans blowing inward to the center of a round stage, causing them to float and twirl prettily to the delicate music of Debussy.
