A Ticketing Company That Collects Selfies For Entry To Events

Based in Philadelphia, online ticketing and events company Ticket Leap has replaced a ticket’s QR-Codes with selfies.

These tickets are designed for small events, which help companies build a network for their brand. It is supposed to be more personalized—comparing an event-goer’s face and his party ticket is also a faster way of granting him entry to an event.

Event-goers download the Selfie Ticket App, which is for Android and iOS users. They can join an event, take a selfie and show their ticket before they enter.

What do you think—is this a cool way of keeping track of attendees to your events?
