Artist Carves Tiny Grotesque Sculptures Of The Naked Human Form

Korean artist Dongwook Lee’s tiny sculptures of the naked human body are disturbing as they are intriguing.

Displayed in their most raw form, the sculptures are portrayed as objects rather than humans. Some are stuffed into a can like tuna in oil, while others are trapped in a syringe, as if to be injected into something else.

The message they convey is the vulnerability of humanity, when stripped of all its frills.
