German artist Gesine Marwedel has an on-going series of amazing surreal body art painted on human bodies.
Her beautiful and detailed images of swans and flamingos are made all the more incredible as they are painted on living, breathing canvases. The models are posed like the respective animals painted on them, lending the images a graceful, serene feel. According to Marwedel, she loves the fact that body painting helps people rediscover their beauty.
