Living in a bubble may not always be the solution, but that’s what architectural firm Orproject is proposing with their ‘Bubbles’ project.
A light-weight, transparent structural system resembling a dome houses an urban botanical garden where atmospheric temperatures and humidity are carefully controlled.
Embedded into the canopy are electricity-generating solar cells, creating a climate conducive for supporting plant varieties from all over the world.
It’s definitely a breath of fresh air, knowing that there’s a place in the city to enjoy crisp and clean air all year round.
