Photographers Create Surreal Miniature Landscapes With Processed Food

Photographers Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman have collaborated on a photography series entitled ‘Processed Views’, in which they create miniature landscapes entirely out of processed food like Fruit Loops, bacon bits, fries and corn flakes.

The project was inspired by an 1863 photograph by Carleton Watkins that captured the endless possibilities of the lands in the American West.

The photos also serve as a social commentary on the alarming rate at which the world is moving away from natural food sources.
