What Facebook Looked Like 10 Years Ago

Facebook was called Thefacebook when it first started at Harvard

Facebook just turned 10 and to mark this milestone, Business Insider has an article chronicling how it has grown from its beginnings as a private directory for Harvard students to the biggest social networking site in the world.

The website has gone through numerous changes throughout the years, tweaking its layout and adding features such as home and profile page redesigns and a real-time news feed, provoking criticism and outrage along the way.

Facebook celebrated by unveiling its Lookback app, a video summary of your top moments on Facebook, which you can access here.
