In Madrid, A Cool Office Space In The Middle Of The Forest

Most offices can be found in cities and urban environments, however, this isn’t the case for the office of Spanish architecture firm Selgas Cano.

Located in a forest outside of Madrid, the firm designed an office that is half-buried in the ground. With its sunken floors, employees have a unique, eye-level view of the forest floor, allowing them to spot various wildlife and leaves falling from the trees above them.

Shaped just like a bunker, the ceiling and length of the office have been fitted with a curving glass window that eliminates the need for artificial lighting during the day. Because it is half buried, it also helps keep the structure cool during the summer.

What do you think of this unique office space? Would you like to work here?
