Creatives embarking on ‘an illustration a day’ projects are nothing new–just check out DeviantArt user Gabriel Picolo’s year-long illustration project and freelance designer and illustrator Adam Turnbull’s blog documenting his daily interactions in New York City.
You can add London-based designer and illustrator Tim King to the list, thanks to his fun on-going project titled ‘A Drawing A Day’ where he illustrates scenes of everyday life in the British capital.
On a mission to “document 2014 in drawing”, King proves to be a keen observer of people and his charming sketches do a great job at capturing the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as the many quirks and faces of its inhabitants.
He spins rich visual narratives from seemingly mundane scenes of café patrons, a newspaper vendor and a group of photographers at Trafalgar Square, documenting overheard conversations and interactions that brim with humor.
